Community Dentistry

Community dentistry is a specialty in dental medicine which deals with fixing the levels of dental health and morbidity in the community and analyzing the variables related to these distributions.

Endodontics

The department deals with treatment, research and teaching of all fields related to root canals.

Maxillofacial Rehabilitation

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The department deals with the range between ambulatory dental surgery and complicated maxillofacial surgery resulting from severe injuries, tumors and congenital or functional disorders.

Oral Medicine

The Department of Oral Medicine provides teaching and clinical services in all areas of oral medicine. The services provided by the department may be broadly divided into specialized dental services and specialized clinics.  The dental clinics provide dental treatment for medically compromised patients, handicapped patients and all emergency cases. The specialized clinics, some of which are covered by Israeli health funds, provide services in oral mucosal disease, chronic orofacial pain, sensory changes in the face, salivary gland dysfunction.

Orthodontics

The Department of Orthodontics offers the public consultation services, which include diagnosis, timing of the treatment and the treatment possibilities. The Orthodontists, including Graduate Residents, treat all orthodontic problems, using the most up-to-date techniques, with the most modern equipment. The treatment is tailored to each individual malocclusion.

Pediatric Dentistry

Dentistry for children, or Pediatric Dentistry as known today, has developed from the treatment of children's teeth to a specialty with emphasis in behavior management, systemic diseases and its correlation to dental and oral disease; the focus is in the delivery of preventive care, beginning with the infant and up to late adolescence, including the treatment of handicapped patients in need of special care....

Periodontics

Treatments provided by the department are: Complete periodontal examination and charting, First aid for the relief of acute situations of periodontal origin. Initial preparation include oral hygiene instruction and the removal of tartar and other deposits.

Prosthodontics

The Department of Prosthodontics comprises the following disciplines: operative dentistry, occlusion, fixed prosthodontics, removed prosthodontics, implantology, esthetic dentistry and dental materials. The department involves in educational activities, clinical services and research.
